Silversnake Michelle – “The Mother Code” (Area Sonica)

Siversnake is a musician who, under the supervision of Area Sonica, publishes the new album entitled “The Mother Code”, an interesting project that combines excellent rock alternatives with veins of blues and rap. A simple cd, without too many artifacts but that goes straight to the point leaving a nice indelible mark already at first listen. Clear ideas and noteworthy ideas, this is what you can hear on this cd, which shows a compositional and technical maturity above all doubts. Siversnake Michelle, this is the stage name of Micaela Battista, presents a forge with a thousand potential that manages to create a job that wins and convinces, confirming what good has been done so far with previous album. Musically speaking we are faced with soft sounds, ranging from melodic to a light alternative rock with decisive load-bearing structures, all well blended by a low present that gives a nice support to a drum that surprises for simplicity and effectiveness, and to the voice of Michelle, suggestive and damned well prepared to create the right atmosphere. An album that will not struggle to remain etched in the mind, precisely because of its simplicity. Perfect dynamics, original time variations, all ingredients that make this album something to keep in your collection. If you are a lover of old good rock but with sounds brought back to the present day, then make sure that you are in the right place at the right time.
